Complementary feeds

 

Scandagra has 3 standard feed series for milking cows:

• "OPTI" complementary feeds for dairy cows
• "MAXI" complementary feeds for dairy cows
• "ROBI" complementary feeds for dairy cows  

 

 "OPTI" complementary feeds for dairy cows

For production of OPTI feeds following raw materials are used – grain, rapeseed cake and/or rapeseed meal, sunflower meal, wheat bran, sugar beet slices, wheat gluten feed, molasses, vegetable oil, salt, limestone, premix containing trace minerals and vitamins.

In composition of OPTI feeds we have used only GMO-free raw material.

• Met. energy - 11,4 MJ
• Crude protein - 16%; 18%. 
• We recommend to feed to dairy cows 250-400 g per kg milk in addition of basal feeds.

"MAXI" complementary feeds for dairy cows

For production of MAXI feeds following raw materials are used - grain, corn, soybean meal (GMO), rapeseed cake and/or rapeseed meal, sunflower meal, wheat bran, wheat gluten feed, feed yeast, molasses, vegetable oil, salt, limestone, monocalcium phosphate, premix containing trace minerals and vitamins.
 

Corn content in MAXI feeds is around 15%.

• Met. energy - 11,6 MJ
• Crude protein - 13%; 16%; 18%.
• We recommend to feed to dairy cows 250-400 g per kg milk in addition of basal feeds.

"ROBI" complementary feeds for dairy cows

For production of ROBI feeds following raw materials are used - grain, corn, soybean meal (GMO), rapeseed cake and/or rapeseed meal, sugar beet slices, feed fat, molasses, vegetable oil, salt, premix containing trace minerals and vitamins.

When selecting raw materials for ROBI feeds special intention was put to pellet quality. These feeds are fitting especially for feeding in milking robots.

• Met. energy - 11,8 MJ
• Crude protein - 13%; 16%; 18%; 20%; 22%.
• We recommend to feed to dairy cows 250-400 g per kg milk in addition of basal feeds.

Mineral feeds

 

Scandagra has FarmMin mineral feed supplements for cattle and goats.

We have developed these products for obtaining optimal content of macrominerals, trace elements and vitamins in cattle feed.

• FarmMin 1, FarmMin 2 and FarmMin 2:1 org. miner. is developed for milking cows.
• FarmMin 4 is for using in the end of lactation and during dry period.
• FarmMin for heifers is for normal growth and development of young stock.
• In addition of previous we have FarmMin Mg which is suitable for using in herds having of problem with magnesium deficiency. 
• Mineral feed supplements are fed in addition of basal feeds.

Complementary feeds

 

 

We have two different starter feeds for calves, complementary feed for heifers, and mineral feed for heifers.

• Calf starter "ELIIT" is developed for feeding of calves from 1st life day to the age of 7 months.
  
• Calf starter is used mostly for feeding of calves in the age of 1 to 7 months.
  
• Complementary feed for heifers in the age of 6 to 18 months.

Milk replacer

There are 2 milk replacers in SCANDAGRAs’ product selection.
These products are coming from VILOFOSS, Denmark.

MilkFoss 60 (VILOFOSS)

Brief information about composition:

• Skimmed milk powder 60%
• Delactosed whey powder - yes
• Fatfilled whey: 30/70 coconut/palm
• 100% milk based protein
• Dextrose 1%
• Crude protein 23%
• Crude fat 18%
• Crude fiber <0.05%
• Citric acid - yes

Milk replacer is suitable for automatic drinkers.
The product is intended for feeding of calves starting from the 3rd lifeday.
Packed in 25kg bags (750kg = 1 palette).

MilkFoss 40 (VILOFOSS)

Brief information about composition:

• Skimmed milk powder 40%
• Wheat protein 4%
• Delactosed whey powder - yes
• Fatfilled whey: 30/70 coconut/palm
• Dextrose 1%
• Crude protein 22%
• Crude fat 17%
• Crude fiber <0.05%
• Citric acid - yes

Milk replacer is suitable for automatic drinkers.
The product is intended for feeding of calves starting from the 3rd lifeday.
Packed in 25kg bags (750kg = 1 palette).
